Beaumont Daycare has been such a great, positive part of Raylene's life and ours since preschool. We feel really fortunate to have had such a wonderful daycare staff looking after our daughter over the years. When I talk about Raylene's daycare at work to my co-workers, I am always so proud to tell them about the daycare because it seems that out of all the daycares available in Winnipeg, they are either really expensive, inconvenient or not a place where the kids want to be or that they can actually have time to bond with the daycare staff so there's no connection. The kids have so much fun and want to go back each and every day at BDC. You have all done and continue to do a wonderful thing for the community with your efforts and they do not go unnoticed. You and the Beaumont Day Care staff should be proud of yourselves and you are huge assets to the community and should be recognized as such. With two school age daughters, we have been a Beaumont Day Care family for over seven years and will be for another six. I would not have my kids anywhere else. From the very early years right through to Grade 6, my children have learned so much at the center which has helped to augment their regular school curriculum. The staff are great and full of energy and we have found them to be fantastic partners in caring for our girls. The programs that the center offers both during school days and during the summer are second to none. We are the envy of a lot of school age parents we know in terms of the opportunities and experiences that our kids are offered throughout the year. We know without a doubt that our children are safe and in good hands while we are not able to be with them. We feel lucky to be a family of the best day care in town!

There are simply no words to express our appreciation for the care that you’ve provided for our daughter Katherine this year. You have all been so much more than staff members – you have been part of a wonderful extended family for her that she looked forward to seeing each and every day. There is a quote that sums up much of what you’ve accomplished at BDC: A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.

Katherine has learned so much from you and although she is still young, these early days of learning have been so valuable to her. As she grows older, we will be sure to remind her of making volcanoes, singing and dancing with Sonja, going on nature walks and studying firsthand the transformation of a tadpole to a frog. There have been so many other amazing and creative experiences she’s had at BDC and although many of her memories will fade – the lessons she’s learned will always remain. You have made her first exposure to school life a positive and rewarding one. We thank you for that. It was with deep sadness that we say our farewell to you and the center and we sincerely wish that we could put you all in her pink backpack as she travels to her new school. We wish you all the very best that life can bring and we sincerely hope that you continue to touch the lives of children in the same way you touched our daughter’s life. Hello Jennifer and Stacy!!
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you both, and everyone else at the daycare, for a fabulous summer! What a WONDERFUL summer program you have! Our son had such a great time this summer, he sang (and so did his parents) the praises of Beaumont Daycare to anyone that would listen! We were also so very impressed and surprised at how easily (he) was able to find his groove in your program. This summer full of activities has also helped (him) to learn how to adapt to change, change task, and cope in an environment where he had to share small and large spaces with a larger group of children then he's used to. I am extremely impressed with the staff that was one-on-one with (our son) and I'm so thankful for their patience during his stressful days and celebrating his accomplishments with him! I do hope that you'll have room for us next summer! We'll definitely be in touch with you to find out if there will be room for next season. (Our son) is already looking forward to it!
